I had to apply for my sons transfer certificates from their previous schools to get their admission done in new school.
At St Mary's and DPS Pune, I had not much trouble as they have a Transfer Certificate form which is to be filled.
This form has only details like where are you moving, why are you moving from the current school etc. The application letter may be something like this:
From Mrs XXXX

To The Prinicipal,
Name of the school,
Address. Subject: ( Application for Transfer Certificate for Name of the Child)
Dear Madam/ Sir,
I am applying for the Transfer Certificate for my child, Ram, studying in class UKg, section B at Best Indian School, Aundh.
As my husband has been posted to New Delhi by his company, we will be shifting to New Delhi by the end of this month.
or As we were unable to get admission for my second child in the same school, we have to move Ram from Best Indian School to Super Indian School.
We appreciate the education that my child has received from the Best Indian School under your enriching guidance.
I would also thank Mrs Rosy for being the most cheerful kindergarten teacher.
If there is any thing for which the school management needs to contact me, kindly do so on this mobile number 89888990333.
My new postal address is : Address My old postal address will be active until this month. Kindly send all further communications at the new address only.

2. Copy of the last fee receipt Normally it takes 15 to 30 days for the schools to verify any outstanding.
If there is any outstanding amount, you will be called to clear it off. Else they return the check for security deposit and hand over the TC.

After a long time Im back again. Today with the news of ANNUAL DAY Function of Pre Primary section VPMS- SB Road.
I must say the teachers prepared all d tiny tots nicely and all the kids performed superbly. My daughter was in Christmas Dance and she had to narrate the sequence in 5-6 sentences…she did her part fluently…
I wish to mention one very good performance …actually I saw it for the first time. U KG kids performed a dance on skates…perfect balance and rhythm…all been done on such a small stage….parents literally has a goose bump seeing that daring act. Even the Sports teacher was on skates..
The event was just 1 1/2 hr and fast paced. Two lovely girls from primary section compered d show…

Yday my daughter did one wonderful thing..she traced a coin on paper and then drawn number of various drawings based on that…it was very creatively done..
Again I have stopped pushing her for HW..but she herself started writing Alphabets both small & capital at her own. When I asked how she managed …she replied …I learn it in my tuition class..and I wondered – TUITION CLASS!!!

My daughter is, i feel, is hyper active. I mean she does nt sit at one place at all whole day she is at something. We wonder how can she be so restless…at times it becomes very difficult to handle her..daily her care taker is having tough time managing her…
though Im happy dat I hv got highly active baby but at times it becomes very irritating …pls suggest how to use her energy positively…
I moved my daughter from her previous school. The new school which is also in Pune has asked for a transfer certificate and were willing to wait one month for it. The previous school is demanding Rs6000 for her TC. The new school has not asked for her TC and it has been well past 1 month. What if I just dont get the TC? Would it matter since the schools are in Pune and my daughter has her previous report card from her old school? Anyone..any ideas?
