How to select best Pune school from reviews and ratings?

I am trying my best to provide as much information to all the parents by writing reviews in the most descriptive way to the recent objective fact based tabular format.

The descriptive story type reviews are my favorite and will continue to rule the site. Yet you will discover to your own surprise that when a school is rated objectively based on same facts the results are surprising.

I am adding new factors whenever possible. Some factors are not valid for a school and hence will be not included in the rating calculation. This school's total points will be low, but must look at the percentage as that is what matters.

Till now DPS seems to be number one school as per the point system though I was myself surprised to see that it did not cross 70% and is Good school.

Ok now how do you use the ratings is important.

Like I keep repeating and reiterating that a school good for me may not be good for you.

So how do you arrive at the school that is most suitable to you and your kid?

Copy the table shown below.

Write the 5 most important factors to you and your family.

Say Distance = 5, Brand = 4, Teachers = 3, Fee = 2, Activities = 1

Now write them in the respective cells under column Priority.

Here top priority will be highest number.

So if you have 5 factors, your top priority will get 5 points.

Next multiply the priority with my rating for the school.

For DPS I have written the totals under the column Total for DPS.

Repeat for all other schools.

Add the points for each school or compare factor wise, which school get maximum points.
