Unaided Minority schools need not reserve 25% seat RTE

By Madhurie Singh, March 20, 2013

RTE, Right to Education had to clarify that schools that are private, unaided and minority certified will not need to follow the RTE’s  clause to reserve 25% seats to the economically backwards.

Honestly, this is not a good news for the RTE lovers.

FFE, Forum for Fairness in Education expressed his displeasure over the clarifications.

So what it means to parents reading this page.

St Mary’s school will go ahead with it’s admission process that was stalled due to this unclarity and now wait to obtain its certificate of minority school status.
