Just a little passionate about kids and issues related to them. So thought of sharing my views which might be helpful to anyone like me.
I have always tried to be fair and have written the facts as it is. My emotions are at times very strong and at times very lenient but thats me ! 
Ever since I started writing blogs on schools and kids in 2006, I have received a lot of calls and I am pleased to write that I managed to bring happiness or smile to more than one parent , and thats my reward.
A lot of moms have asked me to allow easy commenting where they do not have to become member of wordpress. I did try that option for a few months but found that a good amount of my time has to be dedicated in replying back to the comments. If its meaningful and helpful to other readers, I do answer them. I am sure you will appreciate my time going into researching about my topics so that you benefit out of them. Nothing more will make me happier. I open commenting when there is a new post.
I am open to suggestions or review on any product/service which might be helpful to a larger section of readers too.

Hi Purva, Check my reviews on Schools. I would say Pawar Public School in Hadapsar is best there. I really donot know what is your concern

Do you know if Rosary school is good school?. This school has branches in lots of places in Pune. Do they have a balance of academic,sports and other extracurricular activities?. Is it as prestigious as Bishops and St Marys?.

Rosary is OK school. Not a first choice amongst the parents.
The infrastructure is good but I guess the school needs to focus on the school results and academics

I will be trying for the Standard One admission for St Mary’s in 2009 for my daughter. Please can you let me know the details about what is asked in the written test and interview? We are currently in the UK and am worried about the curriculum difference. A detailed reply will really be appreciated.
They have a test in language and numbers. Also they conduct an aptitude test which is all in the form of match the following, general questions like what are the objects used in rainy season etc.
I think for std one, spelling test, addition and subtraction. Making simple sentences and story telling will be asked. Fortunately no other language is taught till Ukg.
