Hi Madhuri,
Would like to know morw on the Back flower therapy and the name of the book which you mentioned in one of your posts above dated Dec 26th.
Hi Madhurie!
I request you to start a contest (COOKERY CONTEST) with a theme….TASTY BUT NUTRITIVE RECEIPIES. The inputs from all cretive MOMS will turnout to be a guide for all.
As you know kids always require different stuff on their platter every day….no matter how much we try we run out of ideas. May be a contest will help us share & learn.
Thanks.
Thanks for the suggestion abt contest.
I am planning a meet on Food for Brain for Kids, after Feb 2010. That will include all food that must be given to kids for their brain development.
In case u are interested, will invite you.
Hi Madhurie!
Indeed your site makes me feel so secure. I feel like a family member & most of all i appreciate your courage & unbiased approach of handling all current issues. Your honesty is really motivating.
I wanted to ask your advice about the famous “TERRIBLE TWO” behavior. My daughter is two years old now, she has been an extremely talkative, happy child but off late leaves my head spinning because of her erractic, unpredictable behaviour.
The major issues are:
1) Sudden mood swings.
2) Sudden withdrawl in the presence of visitors/guests(normally she is very talkative)
3) Extreme anger(Crying & pushing herself on the floor if anything against her will occurs)
4) Poor eating (Eats very little, will spit out food if urged to eat more)
I’m worried & need tips to handle this behaviour & calm her. I am short tempered & evryone attributes this behaviour to me….!
Thanks.
Dear Vrushali, ur comment was my christmas gift, so you are my Santa
. Thank you so much for such a candid and heartfelt appreciation. It means a lot to me. It’s also encouraging to read that people still appreciate truth and it pays to be unbiased and unsold.
.
About your daughter, I think u r lucky to be blessed wid an active and notty baby. Everynight when we all watch Antara, I thank my sons for being normal and I give all my blessing to the parents who have special kids.
My experience has taught me that whenever, I am busy and doing something that is imp, any disturbance from my kids angered me earlier. I am still trying to reschedule all imp work before they come back home. Then I make an activity for each kid that I do wid my undivided attention. And before starting that fun activity I tell them, after this I have work and no one will disturb me.
Most of the days, this works. I guess, when they see that their mom plays or does an activity wid them and does not take even her phone calls, they feel very important. They come and hug me and actually tell me ;” we are more important than your call, isn’t it mamma!”
So I guess each mom has to device her own way. I must tell you the Back flower therapy worked for my younger son. Also a book I am reading and implementing is making loads of positive changes in both my kids and me
Will share more later.
Hi Madhurie,
This is a real good site..I enjoy reading it and most of the times find answers to my concerns/doubts
Will help if you can give tips/information as to how to consume the high energy that kids have. Can you please suggest some games or some other options?
Gauri
Thanks you so much Gauri
! I am glad my blog is of any help. That is my idea. Earlier, joint families wud clear all doubts but wid nuclear-ness, we r all lost. Also now we tend to reason out any situation n advice before adopting them and so look out for as much logically explained answers that our intelligence allows. N when it concerns our kids, we need the best
, right?
very caring website…..keep the good work…
