I would liike to know if anyone has views or first hand experience on Millennium School in Karvenagar?

I don’t think for shortlisting the distance is considered. In my case, I am staying at Pimple Saudagar and my application was shortlisted (may be I was lucky), now I’ll be moving close to school.

I have prepared an excel sheet having details of various schools. The excel has the name of school, contact number, address, website details, when the forms are issued etc. This excel was very useful to me. I would like to share the same ith other members but there is no upload file option. Shall I mail it to you or is there any other way.

I have visited many schools and in the excel I have kept only those schools which I felt could be a good try (of course the list grew and today it has approx 28 schools).

Am trying for Lkg admission for my daughter in St mary. I am currently staying in warje, but ready to relocate near St. Mary if my daughter gets admission. U have gone thr’ the interview process. My query is would they even consider our application taking into account the distance. If shortlisted for interview we can convey abt relocation. Kindly give some inputs.

First of all Thanks a lot for sharing this website which is very informative and helpful in taking decisions related kids.

Currenly I am worried about my kid, Rutvik 2.7 yrs , admission for Nursery in Aundh. After scrutinizing the many options me and my husband finalized two options where school and Day care facility is there in the same premises as we both are working.
First is Indira kids , I have read reviews about Indira Kids on your website and also visited the school and i liked that in all aspect but the only problem is that is 5km from my house.

This school is just started and they have all infrastructure ready for school and day care but some how i don’t feel like experiment on my kid by admitting in a totally new school where they don’t have fixed board pattern. (my husband wish for this one).Currently they don’t have many admissions done in this school.I am worrying when I have to take admission for the first standard for my kid in any other school (like in loyala,Vikhe patil or Vidya Valley), will they accept my kid from the new school like Serra International.
Plus point about this school is this school is 2 KM from my house.

Kindly request you to please do the survey of this school and help me in taking the decision.

1) However I am specifically looking out for your feedback/review on Mt St Patrick’s Academy , Lohegaon for ICSE which I havent come across on this site . I am considering this school for admission of my son for Lkg , any kind of opinions on this school will help me to make an informed decision .

2) Also from the general comments on this site , I did not see a very positive response for Bishops Kalyani Nagar when compared to other established schools . Personally I also intuitively felt this school has recently been riding more on the already gained reputation and gloss rather than actual substance , any kind of opinions here will greatly help .

I may have to eventually choose from Pt 1 and 2 above , if things go our way , I would rather prefer to get my son educated in a newer school which is trying to establish itself , but needed enough information for me to make this decision .

you are right but now the principal, Mr Rao and Mrs Rao will be with Blue Ridge School.

I am stayin in Jagtap Dairy and I am working at Kalyani nagar so I am having forms for Blue Ridge as well as I have form for VPMS Lohegaon. I have visited both the schools and I can compare then and I can say Blue Ridge is better place.

I didn’t liked the VPMS simply because it is too far from civilization. What if something goes wrong like bus failed etc. Also I have seen the classes and students, the classes are not big enough. Students are mostly from nearby villages. The most imp part is teachers, they have hired local teachers and after interacting with them I was not very much interested.

Blue Ridge; I liked the school and my kid is already selected and I am 99.99%sure that my kid will go in Blue Ridge. It is having very huge play ground,it is having very good Principal, the managing committee is headed by Pumpkin Patch peoples and I am sure they will do good. In future it will be diificult to get admission because in future the township will be occupied. It is well with in city limits. The sports teacher is from Vidya Valley school.

But more specifically I would like to know about the reliable and good CBSE schools near Magarpatta City. Though u have started the polling system for School Review but I guess u have reviewd only one school based on that. St. Arnold, St. Mary’s and Indira Kids are far behind in the polls results still they got preference of reveiwing. When I thought u will review Vikhe Patil as it was leading the list…nothing happened to that…now since, every thing in addmissions are over thr I dont feel any need for its review….

I feel I am little late. My son is currently in Nursery in Pumpkin patch pre school and I was thinking of continuing in it till Sr KG. But going thorugh your reviews, I feel its important to have the Jr KG addmission in good school and it would be too late if I have to try for 1st Std addmission at a later time. Currently I am in China and we are getting transferred to Pune this July. Here both of my daughters go to International achools. I am seeking admission for my daughters in class 4 and LKG. For the elder one I prefer CBSE school and for younger one International school. My concern is as my husband’s office will be in Talegoan we are choosing to reside in wakad, Akurdi, Pimpri Chinchwad … So I am looking for good schools in this area. I want to minimize the travel time for my husband eswell as for my kids without compromising the quality of education.

KIndly could you give review on Global Indian International school and BG academy and Poddar International School for my elder daughter and Mercedeces Benz international school for my younger daughter.

Or could suggest some better option as I am totally unaware of this region.

I am considering St Arnolds for my son in 1st Std. I got a form today, but I have no clue what will be the syllabus for the written exam. Since I have come from Delhi and the syllabus greatly differs, I am worried what will it consist of. can you just help me out?

I just happened to visit your blog for the first time while I was looking through some good schools on the internet for admission of my son in LKG. And I must say that you have done a brilliant job in writing these reviews.

The reason why I liked your reviews is because I could guage that your criteria for judging a school very well matches mine. The things that I would like to see in a school is definitely the infrastructure, cleanliness and hygiene (which I am kind of obssessed with) , the activities, the playgrounds and the personality and accent of the teachers. I guess that speaks a lot about the school and that would definitely decide the future of my child. I would not be able to stand the idea of him speaking grammatically wrong English.

I stay in Viman Nagar and my son currently goes to Euro Kids – Nursery in Viman nagar, so life is peaceful so far. I am looking for getting him admission in a good ICSE or CBSE school in LKG. I have explored several options. I am not too comfortable with the idea of letting him travel to Undri or NIBM. But I guess if there is no better option then I would need to do that.

The options that I am currently considering are:

> Pawar Public School – but the issue here is that they dont have any seats for LKG.
> Arnold’s Central School
> Bishop’s Camp
> Bishop’s Undri
> VIBGYOR

I could not find any reviews for Arnold’s. Can you please provide me with some review for this school. How would you rate it against all the other schools that I have listed above. I would like to try in St Mary’s next year for UKG.

Also, if you could give me a comparative analysis of all these schools, it would be great.

The new poll starts from today for next weeks school review.

Even I have gone thru Vidya Valley School(VVS) site. Frankly speaking I liked it very much. But achievements wise thr is no great/ impressive information.

Why Im so confused between two schools- VVS & VPMS is that when I gone thru VPMS the achievements are tremendous in all category- sports, science, spell bee and other recognized competitions and academic results ( more than 60% kids got above 80% marks with 20% more than 90% in last 10th board exams)which I think is something to cheer upon. But infrastructure and other modern facilities, which I want are available in VVS. Here is the confusion.

A good thing I did today was to visit VPMS and catch hold of some parents whose kids are already studying thr. I got very good reviews from them but also I saw kids doing lot of masti that too in front of open space near main entrance. Though i liked the way girls were skating n bumping on one another and small girls practicing high jump on rubber sheet(i guess it was a sports period)but I definitely dint like noise and disturbance, that too near principals room.

God know’s where will I finally settle down, but the main and IMPORTANT Question is will I get the admission in either of schools bcoz hv heard that Its very competitive to get thru random selection method at both d school. Luck matters….
